What is massage therapy?

Christopher Robins RMT has a background in theatre and clowning before becoming a massage therapist. Those that know Chris best say that he became a massage therapist just so that he could have a captive audience!!! Christopher established Pacific Coast Massage Therapy in February of 1994 with the intention to provide effective massage therapy in the context and environment that nurtures the individual and promotes their health, well being and relaxation. Chris has a wide variety of of massage experience working with athletes, professional dancers, actors, expectant mothers, palliative care patients, developmentally challenged adults and the elderly. He has an affinity for performers given his previous occupation and has provided massage therapy for actors of Stage, Film and Television. Chris has worked with dancers from the Riverdance, Ballet BC, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, as well as singers and dancers from touring productions of Showboat, Cats and other musicals. He has clinical experience treating a large number of conditions including whiplash, H.I.V., repetitive strain injuries, arthritides, low back pain, scoliosis, TMJ dysfunction, MVA injuries, and a variety of strains, sprains and tendonitis to name a few.
